Ok Ok, so by now many of you know that Chictini is a Finalist for BEST FASHION SITE of 2008 in the 2nd Annual Open Web Awards!
WE KNOW we are the heavy UNDERDOGS. WE KNOW we have the SMALLEST team in the race (two people in reality). WE KNOW we are the only one in the compeititon NOT FUNDED.
But most importantly WE KNOW we are NOT GIVING UP. There’s a reason we even made it this far with absolutely no resources and practically zero money - and THAT’s BECAUSE OF THE SUPPORT OF USERS LIKE YOU.
Without many of you Chictini would have never been possible. Who knows how long the site would have lasted without all the contributions our fans have made. Yes, its true CHICTINI was MADE BY REAL PEOPLE from the fashion industry and not Internet superstars. But from all the countless contributions of fans providing server space, to providing coding help, to even sending out a simple invite to their friends…CHICTINI was built not just by you…and it was made FOR YOU.
And with that my fellow Chicsters, we thank you for all the support you have given us. Win or Lose - we are forever grateful for the opportunity to have given you this site and provide everyone with a chance to express their fashion opinions.
